Acceptable use for the Fios beta. Last updated: August 2026.
Service
Fios provides company search, profiles, monitoring, and paid access to registry document images. During beta, registry integrations may run in mock mode; live registry responses depend on licensed API credentials.
Accounts & wallet
- You must provide accurate account details and keep credentials secure.
- Wallet credits and subscriptions are billed through Stripe; unused wallet balance is not automatically refundable except where required by law.
- Document fees are disclosed before purchase and debited from your workspace wallet.
Acceptable use
- Use the service for lawful credit, compliance, and due-diligence purposes.
- Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or automate extraction against SoloCheck, Vision-net, Creditsafe, or other third-party portals. Fios does not scrape those services.
- Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, share API keys publicly, or abuse webhooks.
- Do not use purchased documents in ways that violate CRO or Companies House terms.
Registry attribution
Irish company metadata is sourced from the Companies Registration Office (CRO). UK company data (when enabled) is sourced from Companies House. Registry data is provided “as is”; Fios is not a credit rating agency and does not guarantee completeness of third-party filings.
Liability
During beta the service is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fios is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of registry extracts or AI summaries.
